Kindness Delivered was established through an experience that profoundly shaped my perspective during my pediatric clinical rotation as a Nursing student.

While caring for children on the pediatric ward, I quickly realized that hospital stays can be long, repetitive, and emotionally challenging.

 

Although the children had access to ipads, I wanted to find a simple way to bring a little more joy to their day.

I decided to purchase new coloring books and activity books for the children on the unit. What seemed like a small gesture quickly became something much greater. Watching their excitement as they picked out their favorite pages, shared crayons, laughed together, and proudly showed off their artwork reminded me that even the simplest acts of kindness can have a meaningful impact.

That moment was the inspiration behind Kindness Delivered.
